The History of Tempur-Pedic

Back before the Tempur-Pedic mattress changed the way the world sleeps, the TEMPUR material changed the way astronauts slept. In the 1970s, NASA researchers developed a pressure-relieving material for astronauts that would evenly distribute body weight, keep the astronauts at a controlled temperature and provide the cushion and support needed for comfortable sleep in space.
