Twin Size Bed
Twin beds are great for kids’ rooms, starter apartments, or that guest room you’re just getting around to decorating. And since they’re a bit smaller, you’ll notice that our twin beds come in different style than the larger, more adult-friendly sizes. But that doesn’t mean you won’t have a wide variety of beds to choose from. In fact, because twin beds are so versatile, you have even more choices.
If you’re looking for a bed for your son’s room, for example, we have loft twin beds and clean, paneled frames that will fit the decor of nearly any room. We also have twin lounge beds, frames that come with a small shelving unit in tow. Additionally, we carry beds appropriate for your growing daughter’s bedroom or more traditional panel and storage beds that are at once more traditional and versatile.
Nothing’s more important than a good night’s sleep. You, your kids, and your guests can do it in style with our collection of Twin beds.
Twin Bed Frame + Headboard
When choosing a Twin bed, think about these factors:
- Material. Solid wood vs. veneers vs. fabric – beds come in all material types.
- Trundle bed. Many Twin beds give you the option of a trundle underneath; if your child loves having friends over for slumber parties, this is a great way to keep their guests comfortable.
- The footboard of the bed stands opposite the headboard. Not all Twin beds come with a footboard, but this is a good option if you want to create a polished bed frame look.
- Loft bed. Lofted means that the bed is raised up to the level of a top bunk bed. Choose this option if you want the space under your bed for a desk, dresser, another bed or anything else large.
- Functionality. The functionality of a bed means how much it will serve you. If your bed is too small for your comfort, too wobbly for peaceful sleeping or too high for you to climb into, then it is not functional. Choose a bed that is tall or low enough, sturdy enough and large enough to meet your needs.
- Accessibility. Similar to functionality, accessibility is about making it easier to get into and out of bed. For some people with disabilities, a standard bed frame may not be cut out for creating a comfortable space. Along with a shorter frame, features such as step stools, a firmer mattress and an adjustable bases can also help ease the transition of standing to sitting to lying down.
- Nailhead trim. Nailhead trim is a decorative feature in some Twin beds found along the headboard and side rails. Featuring small round metal studs that, this pattern makes for style that pops – fit for glam, traditional and modern spaces.
