Care Instructions
Wool is a popular renewable fiber used in rugs providing a soft durable pile.  Wool is naturally water repellent. When a liquid is spilled, a quick blotting of the area will remove most of the moisture. The wool can then can be spot cleaned with a mild soap and water solution. Make sure to not fully saturate the pile through to the backing. More difficult stains may be cleaned using a hot water extraction method. Because wool is a spun yarn, shedding is normal and will subside with time. When a wool pile sheds you should vacuum the area with a raised beater bar or suction only. Normal wear and maintenance will let the loose fibers shed. Vacuuming continuously with a lowered beater bar will only pull more fiber from the pile than what would naturally be released.
