Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Position the headboard and attach the side rails using the provided Allen bolts, flat washers, and lock washers. Tighten with the Allen key. Attach Footboard: Connect the footboard to the side rails using the remaining Allen bolts, flat washers, and lock washers. Ensure all connections are secure. Install Center Slat Support: Position the center slat support and attach the support legs using the provided bolts. Secure tightly with the Allen key. Attach Slat Clips: Attach the side rail slat clips and center support slat clips to the slats as indicated. Place Slat Roll: Unroll the slats and position them on the side rails and center support. Secure the slats using the slat clips. Adjust Levelers: Position the bed in your desired location. Locate the levelers under each support leg. Turn counter-clockwise to extend and clockwise to retract. Adjust each leveler until all support legs apply equal upward pressure on the slats. Maintenance Instructions: Moving the Bed: Remove the mattress and box spring (if applicable) before moving. Lift the bed to move; do not drag it to avoid damaging the support legs. Re-adjust Levelers: After moving the bed, re-adjust the levelers to ensure stability. Adjustable Mattress Base Assembly Supplement: If using this bed frame with an adjustable mattress base, the pre-assembled side rail cleats must be removed. Use a Phillips head screwdriver (not provided) to unscrew the Phillips screws and remove the pre-assembled side rail cleats. Note: Once removed, the side rail cleats cannot be safely re-installed for future use with a standard box spring or foundation.
